Baby steps. That's what I keep telling myself. It's not possible for my bedroom to go from a total dump to looking like the photos I collect on Pinterest (if you're not on Pinterest already, you are totally behind the times and need to get a life and sign up but immeeeeediately) in the blink of an eye. Or apparently, a few months. Here are my bedroom dreams:
Here's the progress I made back in September, and here are some of the plans that I had once I decided to become a thrifty person.
The wrapping paper I ordered arrived and I ordered cheap metal frames online and in the meantime I realized that I didn't like the thing hanging over the bed and I wanted a mirror there instead. You would be amazed to find out how hard it is to find a cheap mirror. But find one I did, thanks to Amazon. Once it came and I hung it up I realized I was going to need two, but since they only cost $19.95 each, so what?
So what does the bedroom look like now? Well, not perfect. But closer:
I'm in love with the framed wrapping paper and how it turned out; I'm afraid it doesn't look as nice here as it does in real life. I think I need to lower the mirrors a little. Right? And I could use some new bedding, but that's not going to happen any time soon. So there are still a million things I have to do to make it the way I want, including putting a framed photo on each nightstand, along with maybe a vase?
But I'm getting there. One step at a time.
XOXOXO
