You guys, I'm addicted to Brynn's color posts over at Chartreuse and a Twist. Since today is Valentine's Day, she picked red and/or pink. I obviously went with pink. Duh. And it turns out I did it all wrong last time; what you're SUPPOSED to do is make a color board from stuff you own. But I think I've got it now. Here's my paean to pink:
There you have it. I know, it's a lot to take in all at once, but don't worry, I'll break it down for you:
Burberry scarf from Ted, back when he was feeling less stingy about our cash outflow, along with a bangle from Forever 21.
Rose Lotion from L'Occitaine in convenient travel size! Seriously, this lotion smells divine and keeps your skin from drying out in airplane/hotel air.
Stretchy pink and gold rings that were a gift from T-Dawg.
A box from Helen Ficalora where they know my name because I shop used to shop there so often. Shout out to Andrea! :)
Watches. I have a thing for watches. I have probably a dozen. It's a problem.
Hair bows from Pink Lemonade on Etsy. Yes, I realize these are for children. I wear them anyway and look awesome. Or so I choose to believe.
Earrings I bought form my friends Cynthia when she had a business selling wonderful items from overseas. Alas, no more.
A teacup from the beautiful china set that my mother-in-law gave me. Pink and gold on the outside...
Flowers on the inside!
Lip gloss from Eyes Lips Face which has amazing make up and everything is like a dollar. Literally.
And this is the box it's all sitting on which holds all my jewelry. Well, almost all of it. I have a drawer for the spill-over. You know, like the watches ;)
So that's most of the pink I own. Up next? All the pink I WISH I owned.
XOXOXO
